3795474 - ORD44 Field Label Change Not Reflected on Screen Due to Outdated Screen Load

After changing the short description of data element ORD44 via CMOD > Text Enhancements, the updated field label was correctly displayed when accessing the system with a support user. However, a specific end-user account continued to see the previous description on the affected screen.

Clearing the dynpro buffer using the /$DYN command did not resolve the issue.

After changing the field label text of data element ORD44, the screen load of screen SAPLAIST/1160 became outdated.

The issue was therefore not related to an outdated DDFTX entry or the dynpro buffer itself. The affected screen needed to have its load regenerated to reflect the updated data element text.

Regenerate the affected screen load. 

If the same issue occurs again, regenerate the load of the affected screen using transaction SE51:

1. Open transaction SE51.
2. Enter the affected Program.
3. Enter the affected Screen Number.
4. Click the Activation button in the application toolbar.
5. Alternatively, press Ctrl + F3.
6. After activation, access the affected screen again and verify that the updated field label is displayed.
