3795576 - Time Valuation Not Triggered When Using Create Recordings for “Filter Single Records from Input Groups”

In the Time Sheet UI, the “Filter Single Records from Input Groups” Time Valuation behaves differently depending on how the time data is created:

• When time data is created using the Record button, the Time Valuation is triggered correctly.
• When the same time data is created via Create → Recordings, the Time Valuation is not triggered.

1. Configure a 'Filter Single Records from Input Groups' Time Valuation with the following settings:
   
2. With above configuration, any non-approved Single Record Approval should be sent to the configured Time Type Group and trigger alert.
3. Navigate to time sheet UI, create a single record approval using the Record button, the Time Valuation is triggered correctly and the expected alert is raised.
   
4. Create another Single Record Approval using Create → Recordings, the Time Valuation is NOT triggered and no alert is generated.
   

This is a known issue. A fix is planned, the KBA will be updated once further progress or additional information is available.

As a temporary workaround, create each working time entry separately using the Record button instead of using Create → Recordings. This ensures that the Time Valuation is triggered correctly.
