You see the following error when the ECC or SAP S/4HANA outbound qRFC (queued Remote Function Call) queue processes product master data transfers to SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP):

Type 8 (8,0) is not a valid elementary type

You may also observe:
- Message class 00, message number 341
- Variable: SYSTEM_TYPE_NOT_ELEMENTARY
- The error occurs after you activate the Integration Model for product master data in SAP ERP (ECC) or SAP S/4HANA
