3795658 - Cannot Change Field Query Properties for ID Number Field in Individual Customer Identification Service

Users are unable to configure the identificationId (ID Number) field as Filterable, Searchable, or Sortable in the Individual Customer Identification Service.

1. Navigate to Extensibility Administration.
2. Open Individual Customer Identification Service.
3. Select Field Query Properties.
4. Attempt to modify the query properties for the identificationId field.

The identificationId field contains sensitive personal information. For any fields which Read Access Logging is enabled in Data Privacy, query properties cannot be modified.

This behavior is expected by design.

The key difference between an Account and an Individual Customer is that Individual Customer records contain personal data. The identificationId (ID Number) field is treated similarly to a Social Security Number (SSN) or other sensitive personal identifiers.

To protect personal information and support privacy compliance requirements, the system restricts filtering, searching, and sorting on these sensitive fields.

Therefore:

• In Account Identification Service, the identificationId field can be configured as filterable, searchable, or sortable.
• In Individual Customer Identification Service, modification of these query properties is not allowed.
