3795673 - Thumbnail not displayed in app Asset Overview (F8961) for technical object after attaching picture – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Thumbnail is not displayed in the Asset Overview app (App ID: F8961) when a JPG image has been attached to a technical object.
• Document Type and File Extension have been maintained for object Equipment or Functional Location in SSCUI '105346 - Activate HDM for Attachment Object Type', but the attachment with defined document type and file extension is still not showing as Thumbnail.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attach a JPG image to a technical object in app Change Technical Object.
2. Open the Asset Overview app (F8961) and select the technical object.
3. Observe that the thumbnail is not displayed.

As of now, the thumbnail determination is following below setting:

• For Equipment and Functional Location, upload attachment with document type YBO and file extension JPG;
• For Maintenance Order and Maintenance Notification, upload attachment with document type YP1 and file extension JPG.
