3795708 - Receiver Basis Values Uploaded from Excel Are Multiplied by 100 for JPY or KRW Currencies in Manage Allocations App - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Symptom

When uploading Receiver Basis values from an Excel file in the Manage Allocations App (F3338A) with currency JPY or KRW, the values are stored multiplied by 100 after saving. No error or warning message is displayed — the incorrect value is stored silently. Manual entry of the same values is stored correctly.

Two behaviors are observed depending on the upload scenario:

  • Upload into an empty or cleared segment: The values are stored multiplied by 100 after saving. For example, an uploaded total of 300 JPY is saved as 300,000 JPY.
  • Upload on top of existing (incorrect) values without clearing: The values are stored correctly.

The issue is limited to file upload. The Export to Excel function also returns the already-multiplied incorrect values.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Manage Allocations App (F3338A), select a cycle, and open a segment.
  2. Navigate to the Receiver Basis tab.
  3. Choose Upload/Download Values and upload the prepared Excel file.
  4. Confirm the upload — the edit mode displays the correct total, for example 300 JPY.
  5. Save.
  6. The saved Total Balance is displayed as 300,000 JPY — multiplied by 100.
  7. Exporting to Excel returns the same multiplied values.

Resolution

This is a known problem. The fix is planned to be released with version 2608.2, targeted around 17 October 2026. The timeline is subject to change.
