3795824 - CR01/CR02 allows assigning work center cost center from different company code; message CR-167 is only a warning

Symptom

  • Creating or changing a work center in transactions CR01/CR02 allows assigning a cost center that belongs to a different company code than the plant’s company code.
  • The system displays warning message CR-167 and still allows saving the work center.
  • Attempting to change message CR-167 to an error via OBA5 is not possible.
