In SmartRecruiters, when an internal employee is selected for a position, the record is still synchronized to Employee Central > Manage Pending Hires as a New Hire. There is no indication in the process or in the synchronized data that the candidate is an internal employee, making it impossible to distinguish internal hires from external hires.
