3796135 - insights cards in my home settings load indefinitely with "sap.insights is not enabled" error in console

Symptom

  • In My Home Settings, Insights Cards load indefinitely.
  • Browser console shows: "Uncaught (in promise) Error: sap.insights is not enabled for this system."

Environment

  • SAP Fiori Launchpad 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to My Home Settings.
  2. Go to the Insights Cards section.

Cause

sap.insights is disabled in the system; UI5_INSIGHTS is set to false in /UI2/FLPSETCV.

Resolution

  1. Verify the configuration in table /UI2/FLPSETCV and ensure that UI5_INSIGHTS is set to true.
  2. Refer to: Activating My Home in SAP S/4HANA and complete all required activation steps for My Home and sap.insights.
