3796308 - BOM not exploded in sales order costing resulting in error CK193

Symptom

  • During sales order costing (via VA02 or CK51N), a BOM component is not exploded in the quantity structure.
  • The system reads the cost from the material master record instead of calculating it through BOM explosion.
  • Message CK193 appears in the costing log.
  • The sales order valuation and final price are incorrect because the multi-level BOM structure is not fully resolved.
