3796410 - Value Help is Missing for the Fields "ECO Last Changed On" and "ECO Created On" in the Data Source

Value help is not present for field ECO Last Changed On and ECO Created On in Data Source "Production Bills of Material Line Items with Engineering Change Orders "(SCMITEMCHST).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics work center.
2. Go to Design Data Sources view.
3. Search for data source “Production Bills of Material Line Items with Engineering Change Orders (SCMITEMCHST)”.
4. Choose Preview.
5. In Selection Criteria, value help is not available for the fields  ECO Last Changed On and ECO Created On.

• The Data Source Production Bills of Material Line Items with Engineering Change Orders (SCMITEMCHST) is primarily based on the BOM ID and ECO ID. Therefore, the selection criteria uses either the BOM ID or ECO ID to retrieve data.
• When data is fetched using fields such as ECO Created On or ECO Last Changed On, no results are returned, and a blank screen is displayed. Since these fields are not the primary selection fields, no value help is available.

This behavior is expected as per the standard design of the Data Source.
