3797199 - Unable to generate job when using BOM Mass Maintenance Apps - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

It is not possible to generate job when using app 'Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material Items'/'Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material Headers' to change BOM.

1. Open the Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material Items app (F6578).
2. Select one or more BOM items and choose the required mass-maintenance operation.
3. Choose Run Job in Background and enter a job description.
4. Start the run and note that a success message is shown.
5. Open the Monitor Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material app (F6764).
6. Check My Jobs and All Jobs: no job entry is created or visible.

Authorization/role configuration issue after an upgrade introduced a new Fiori ID for application jobs; existing custom roles contained an obsolete version of the business catalog and does not grant the correct privileges to create/monitor the jobs.

1. Create a new business role using the standard template SAP_BR_BOM_ENGINEER and assign it to the affected users.
2. Alternatively, refresh existing custom roles by removing the business catalog SAP_PLM_BC_MBOM_MASS_PC and adding it again to the role to update the application job authorizations.
3. Verify that the IAM app F9627_TRAN is included and set to Active.
4. Refresh the Monitor Mass Maintenance of Bills of Material app (F6764) and retry scheduling the background job from F6578. Confirm the job now appears under My Jobs or All Jobs.
