3797314 - How to enable Dynamic Break Deduction for partial absences within timesheet

Symptom

You want to configure a time type specific logic for dynamic break generation with partial absences

Environment

  • Successfactors employee central timesheet
  • Successfactors Time Tracking

Resolution

  1. Manage Data > Dynamic Break Configuration
  2. Within the dynamic break you wish use, set "Time Type Specific Break Generation" to Time Type Specific
  3. Save your changes
  4. Manage Data > Time Type
  5. For the absence time types, you can set the "Dynamic Break Handling" to have it considered as either working time or break.
  6. If considered as break, no dynamic break will be generated. If considered as working time, dynamic break is generated as normal.
