3797478 - "Effective Start Date" and "Eligibility Valid Until" are not equal to "Eligibility For Advances" object - Employee Central

When Employees are requesting an Eligible Advance, the Advance data shows an Effective Start Date and an Eligibility Valid Until that were not set on the "Eligibility For Advances" object for that Advance Type.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. On the Employee Profile, go to Compensation and open the Advances Card;
2. In the "Eligible Advances" section, click on the Advance type wanted;
3. On the right side, the window will show more details of the Advance;
4. See that the Effective Start Date is showing Jan 1, 2023, and the Eligibility Valid Until is Dec 31, 2026;
   
5. Go to the "Eligibility For Advances" of the Advance in question and check that the Effective Start Date is 01/01/2019
   

The "Eligibility for Advances" configuration allows the Advance to be eligible in cycles, as it is set to be valid for a specific period, but without an end date. In the example above, you can see the eligibility has a start date of 01/01/2019 and it is valid for 48 months. There is also no Maximum Eligible Occurrences set for this period. 

This means that this Avance type will be eligible in cycles of three years (48 months) - from 01/01/2019 to 12/31/2022, from 01/01/2023 to 12/31/2026, and so on. 

If you want the Advance to be Eligible for only one cycle, you can leave the "Eligibility Valid For" fields empty, so the end date will automatically be set to Dec 31, 9999. 
If you want the Employee to request it only a certain number of times during the cycle, add it to the Maximum Eligible Occurrences field
