• When using Jump to Story from a table widget, the navigation target label displays as a hexadecimal identifier instead of a human‑readable name.
• There is no option within the table widget to configure or override the displayed label.
• Users cannot easily identify the intended navigation target from the table context menu.

SAP Analytics Cloud

1. Open a story that contains a table widget bound to a model.
2. Configure Jump to Story navigation on the table widget.
3. Switch to view mode and open the table widget’s context menu.
4. Observe that the jump target label appears as a hexadecimal identifier rather than a readable name.

Current product behavior by design: Table widget navigation labels render internal identifiers provided by the underlying model/backend, and the table widget does not support custom label configuration.

This behavior is currently working as designed. For table widgets in SAP Analytics Cloud, the Jump to Story navigation option displays the technical identifier and does not support custom labels.

Workaround:

• Use Image, Text, Shape, or Header Tile widgets if a custom navigation label is required.
