3797618 - Planned Independent Requirement could not be deleted after project demand is closed

The Planned Independent Requirement(PIR) could not be closed or deleted after the corresponding project demand has been closed. 

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. In app "Project Control - Enterprise Projects", create an enterprise project and release.
2. In app "Manage Project Demand", create a Material Demand with Demand Type: Project Stock, Preliminary Procurement regarding to WBS created in step 1.
3. Request the demand, Planned Independent Requirement(PIR) is created automatically.
4. After closing the Material Demand, the PIR was not removed from planning. 

With the Read-Only Changes for Planned Independent Requirement feature delivered in 2502.3, PIR generated by project demand is now only viewable in MD63, and is non-editable in the relevant production planning applications. A material requirements planning(MRP) run that generates the purchase requisition considers this PIR even if the demand is in closed status. 

To simulate the deletion of the downstream PIR, maintain the demand quantity as zero before closing the demand. 

When the demand is closed without first reducing the material quantity to zero, there is currently no supported way to delete the corresponding PIR. Please consider raise a Improve Request via the Customer Influence portal.
