Symptom

"Source Type SRC_FILE is not active in the table EDOCOMPANYACTIV for Company Code &&&&" error in Upload tool for incoming message app

Environment

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Upload tool for incoming message.
  2. Go to Inbound messages.
  3. Upload the XML invoice.
  4. The error occurs.

Cause

Configuration issue - Source type SRC_FILE is not maintained or active for the relevant company code in SSCUI Activate Source Type Documents for Company Code.

Resolution

  1. Refer to: Activating Source Type Documents for Company Code (Mandatory).
  2. Activate the source type SRC_FILE for the relevant company code in configuration Activate Source Type Documents for Company Code.
  3. Save the changes and retry the XML invoice upload in the Upload tool for incoming message app.
