• Learning Connectors job intermittently 'Aborted' or remains in 'INIT - Started'. 
• Connector error log shows 401 Unauthorized with AuthenticationFailed and details "[AUTH0018] The token expired. Please generate a new token". 
• Backend logs may include: HttpClientErrorExcepción$Unauthorized (401 : "{"error":{"code":"AuthenticationFailed","message":"Authentication service failed to return token.","details":"[AUTH0018]The token expired at 6/20/26 2:00 AM. Please generate a new token."}}.

1. Schedule the connector job in SuccessFactors Learning. 
2. Monitor the job status and observe it remains in INIT - Started or Aborted unexpectedly. 
3. Open the connector error log and note 401 Unauthorized with AuthenticationFailed and details "[AUTH0018] The token expired. Please generate a new token".

The caching mechanism in PlateauOAuth2RestTemplateInterceptor replayed expired tokens due to the absence of a pre-expiry refresh buffer and failure to recognize the Vault error "[AUTH0018]" as requiring a token refresh.

1. Learning Engineering updated the OAuth token refresh logic in PlateauOAuth2RestTemplateInterceptor to include a pre-expiry refresh buffer and to recognize the "[AUTH0018]" error for proper refresh.
