3797822 - Mobile allows goal comments from Performance Management form when goal section is disabled on desktop – SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

• When a performance form template has the goal section disabled, users should not be able to leave goal comments from within the form.
• On mobile, users can still add threaded goal comments from within the form even though the goal section is disabled.
• The behavior is reproducible on both iOS and Android.
• No error messages are displayed.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals

1. Log in with a user who has a performance form where the goal section is disabled at the current step (latest form experience).
2. On desktop, open the same form and confirm that adding goal comments is not possible.
3. On the mobile app (iOS or Android), open the same form.
4. From within the form, navigate to goal details and observe that adding comments is possible despite the disabled goal section.

On mobile, accessing a goal from within a performance form currently opens the standalone goal detail screen, which does not inherit the permission configuration from the performance form. As a result, goal section restrictions (including disabling comments) are not enforced on mobile.
