3798034 - Manual Initiate i‑9 process: inconsistent and ambiguous task labels for section 1 and section 2 in dashboard and compliance process details - Onboarding

• With the manual Initiate I‑9 Process option, tasks are started directly from the onboarding dashboard.
• The task naming differs between the dashboard and the Compliance Process Details view.
• When both Section 1 and Section 2 are initiated, both tasks can appear as “Correct I‑9 Data,” making it hard to distinguish which section each task belongs to.
• Current observed labels include “Correct Form I‑9 data” (lowercase d) for Section 1 on the dashboard, “Complete Form I‑9 Section 2” for Section 2 on the dashboard, and identical “Correct Form I‑9 Data” entries for both sections in Compliance Process Details.

1. Launch Initiate I‑9 Process and start “Correct Form I‑9 Data” for both Section 1 and Section 2.
2. Observe the task labels on the onboarding dashboard and in Compliance Process Details.

This is going to be orrected via a product fix; engineering has finalized the expected labels.

• Dashboard — Section 2 task: Expected label “Correct Form I‑9 Data — Section 2”.
• Compliance Process Details — both sections: Expected labels “Correct Form I‑9 Data — Section 1” and “Correct Form I‑9 Data — Section 2” (differentiated).

The change is tentatively planned for the 2H 2026 release with a target date of 13/11/2026.
