3798078 - Manage Documents: No "Owned By" field when uploading a Company Document

• Unable to upload a document via Manage Documents and assign it to another user.
• How upload a file and assign the Owner file?
• Can Owner By option be adjusted after upload?

By design, Company Documents under categories like Benefits, Policy, Images are company-wide documents, assigning an owner to a specific person doesn't apply to this document type.

The "owner" concept in Manage Documents only applies to employee/person-level attachments, which are uploaded against a specific user or person entity.

Alternatively, use a data import process to assign documents to users in bulk or Upload the document directly from the target user’s People Profile so the file is owned by that user.
