3798176 - Difference of display when employee contribution is set as 0 for a pension benefit

For some users the 0 employee contribution for pension benefit show blank and for other show 0.00%.

1. Open a user profile and go to Benefits.
2. In Benefits Overview, locate the pension plan.
3. Observe that for users with an employee contribution of 0, My Contribution shows 0.00% for some users but appears blank for others.

For workplace-type pension plans configured with MinMax contributions, a BenefitPensionEnrollmentContributionDetail object with null values existed on some enrollments.

This object is not expected for workplace pensions (where fund-level BenefitPensionFundEnrollmentContributionDetail is authoritative).

Its presence with null values caused the UI to show a blank instead of the correctly computed 0.00% when the employee contribution percentage was 0.

1. In Manage Data, locate the affected enrollment and delete the BenefitPensionEnrollmentContributionDetail object (if it exists with null values).
2. Re-save the enrollment.
3. Verify in Benefits Overview that My Contribution now displays 0.00% for the user.
4. Plan to adopt the product update when available: a code fix is targeted for the 2H2026 release to prevent null-valued BenefitPensionEnrollmentContributionDetail from overriding the computed contribution on workplace pensions. After the update, the UI will display 0.00% without data correction.

Issue is resolved with a fix which will be available in 2H2026 release.  Preview deployment on October 12th 2026 and Production on November 13th 2026.
