3798187 - "Business Transaction Type is Missing" error occurs in the Post Asset Transfer (New Version) app – SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When performing an asset transfer using the Post Asset Transfer (New Version) app, the error message "Business transaction type is missing" is displayed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Post Asset Transfer (New Version) app.
2. Enter the required data and attempt to post the asset transfer.
3. The process fails, and the system displays the error message "Business transaction type is missing".

The new reference content is deployed to the development system’s tenant and recorded in a transport request (TR). To use the new content, the TR needs to be released to the test and production systems.

1. Open the Export Customizing Transports app in the development system.
2. Locate the transport request (TR) that contains the newly delivered reference content.
3. Choose Assign to me.
4. Release the transport request.
5. Allow the transport to move to the test (T) and production (P) systems.
6. Reopen the Post Asset Transfer (New Version) app and confirm that the error no longer occurs.
