3798201 - Carrier Confirmation XML from BN4L fails in TM with errors /SCMTMS/TEND 308 and 340

• A Freight Order is sent from SAP Transportation Management (TM) to the carrier in SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L) through a Transportation Request XML message (TransportationOrderRequest or TransportationOrderGenericRequest).
• The carrier confirms the request in BN4L, and the corresponding Confirmation XML message is successfully received in TM. The Freight Order is updated accordingly, and its Confirmation Status is set to "Confirmed".
• Afterwards, the Freight Order is changed in TM, for example, by changing a delivery date. However, no new Transportation Request XML message containing the updated Freight Order data is sent to BN4L. As a result, the Freight Order status changes to "Document Changed After Confirmation".
• If the carrier then sends another Confirmation message from BN4L, the incoming XML message may fail in transaction SRT_MONI with the following errors:
  • /SCMTMS/TEND 308 - "Cannot confirm road freight order &1"
  • /SCMTMS/TEND 340 - "Cannot confirm document; sent data has already been changed"
• The same errors can also occur when the Freight Order is changed after the Transportation Request is sent but before the first Confirmation message is received.
