3798230 - Unable to create a communication arrangement based on communication scenario SAP_COM_0A58 (or SAP_COM_0247)

When creating a communication arrangement for communication scenario SAP_COM_0A58 or SAP_COM_0247, the following errors occur:

• Creation of Integration Model for EWM failed
• An arrangement for SAP_COM_0A58 (or SAP_COM_0247) and receiving system XXX already exists

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a communication arrangement (communication scenario: SAP_COM_0A58 or SAP_COM_0247) but do not save it, keeping it in a draft state.
2. Discard this draft
3. Re-create a new communication arrangement and save it.
4. Error messages has occurred.

If a communication arrangement (communication scenario: SAP_COM_0A58 or SAP_COM_0247) fails to save and the draft is discarded, residual distribution model artefacts persist in the database. These artefacts are encountered when the user attempts to recreate a communication arrangement for the same communication scenario and communication system, resulting in the error: "An arrangement for SAP_COM_0A58 (or SAP_COM_0247) and receiving system XXX already exists."

Submit an SAP case under component LE-IEW-X-2CL so that the SAP support team can remove the residual distribution model artefacts from the backend.
