3798262 - Restrictions on changes to SOCSO, EPF, and MTD configuration

Symptom

The following known restrictions apply to modifications of Malaysia statutory deduction infotypes:

  • Calculation parameters for SOCSO/EIS, EPF, and MTD cannot be changed mid-month if an off-cycle payroll or the first period of a semi-monthly payroll has already been executed in the same calendar month.
  • According to the default configuration in view V_T582A, backdated start dates on infotypes 0196, 0197, and 0198 do not trigger retroactive payroll recalculation.
  • During retroactive payroll runs, SOCSO contributions are recalculated; however, EPF and MTD/Tax contributions are not recalculated.
