3798425 - Automatic Goods Movements for Production Orders Fail and Appear in T-Code COGI

After confirming a production order operation in T-Code CO11N, the backflushed component goods movements (movement type 261) are not posted immediately. Instead, they appear in T-Code COGI (Processing of Faulty Goods Movements) as failed entries. The production order confirmation was accepted without error, but the inventory balances are not updated. In T-Code MB52 or T-Code MMBE, the component stock is unchanged despite the confirmation. Over time, a large backlog of COGI entries accumulates and must be processed manually. The COGI error log shows messages such as M7 021 (insufficient stock), a posting period error, or an order status error. In the case of repetitive manufacturing (T-Code MFBF), the same behavior can occur when backflush postings fail.
