3798436 - Production Order Created Without Operations or Routing

After creating a production order in T-Code CO01 or converting a planned order to a production order in T-Code CO40 or T-Code MD15, the resulting production order has no operations. In T-Code CO03 (display production order), the Operations tab is empty. The following additional symptoms are observed:

• All scheduling dates (basic start date, basic finish date, scheduled start, scheduled finish) are equal to the order creation date — no lead time is calculated.
• In T-Code CM04 (capacity load overview) or T-Code CM01 (work center load), no capacity requirements are posted for the production order.
• If a component is marked for backflush in the BOM or material master, no automatic goods movement (movement type 261) is triggered at confirmation because there are no operations to confirm.
• In some cases, the system displays warning message CS 418 ("No routing found for material [X] in plant [Y]") during order creation and the user bypasses the warning.
• The BOM is exploded correctly — components appear on the Components tab — but no routing/operations are attached.
• In T-Code CO11N (operation confirmation), no operations are available to select for confirmation.
