3798501 - Feed post text missing in approval and edits published without approval when post includes attachment

Symptom

When a user creates a feed post with text and attachment, the text content is missing during the approval process, and subsequent edits bypass the approval workflow.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors WorkZone
  • SAP WorkZone Advanced Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Sign in with a non-admin user.
  2. Navigate to a workspace feed.
  3. Create a post that includes both text and an image attachment and submit for approval.
  4. Sign in with an admin user.
  5. Open the approval notification for the post.
  6. Observe: on the approval page, only the image is displayed; the post text is not shown.
  7. Sign back in with the non-admin user.
  8. Edit the post text and save.
  9. Observe: no approval workflow is initiated; the edited text is published directly.

Cause

This is a known issue.

Resolution

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2609B release (release date 30th Sep 2026)
