3798532 - "Explore Custom Charts" option is not available in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) story after the 2026 QRC3 update

• After the SAC 2026 QRC3 update, the "Explore Custom Charts" option is still not available in SAC
• Custom Charts cannot be installed from the Custom Widgets tab or from the existing charts in story

• SAP Analytics Cloud 2026.15

1. Log onto SAC
2. Navigate to Stories and select Custom Widget tab
   => Observe that this "Explore Custom Charts" option is not available on this tab
3. Create an optimized story
4. Insert a chart into this story
5. Click on this chart and open the chart Builder Panel
6. In the chart Builder panel, open the Currently Selected Chart drop down
   => Observe that "Explore Custom Charts" option is also not available on this drop down
   
   

• This SAC system is not integrated into the formation with type "Integration with Business Data Cloud".
• If SAC system was integrated into this formation with type "Integration with Business Data Cloud" before but this option "Explore Custom Charts" is still not available, this may due to that some configurations have not been synchronized properly.

1. Integrate this SAC system into the formation with type "Integration with Business Data Cloud" as per Creating SAP Business Data Cloud Formations | SAP Help Portal.
2. If SAC system was integrated into this formation with type "Integration with Business Data Cloud" before but this option "Explore Custom Charts" is still not available, please kindly try below steps:
   1. Remove BDC Cockpit or SAC from this formation with type "Integration with Business Data Cloud"
   2. Re-add this BDC Cockpit or SAC into this "Integration with Business Data Cloud" formation again
