3798565 - Error Message CX_SADL_ENTITY_CUD_DISABLED in Manage Substitution/Validation Rules Apps

When attempting to save a substitution rule that includes a table lookup in the app "Manage Substitution and Validation Rules", the save operation fails and the following errors are displayed:

1. CX_SADL_ENTITY_CUD_DISABLED
2. An exception was raised
   /IWBEP/CX_MGW_BUSI_EXCEPTION
   An exception was raised

The substitution rule cannot be saved as long as it contains a table lookup step.

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud 2608

1. Open the app "Manage Substitution/Validation Rules" apps.
2. Create or edit a substitution rule.
3. Add a "table lookup" to the substitution rule.
4. Attempt to save the rule.
5. The error messages listed above are displayed and the rule cannot be saved.

Known issue within the Manage Substitution/Validation Rules apps

A correction for this issue has been developed and integrated into an upcoming release of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud as part of the continuous feature delivery process.

Based on current planning, the fix is scheduled to reach General Availability (GA) on 17th October.
