3798661 - How can suppliers bid on read-only or non-editable terms in supplier-added items in the guided sourcing event?

After an event is created from a template that allows supplier-added items and the event opens for responses, suppliers can add items and lots as part of their bids. After a supplier adds an item, they can submit a bid for the item as well.

While submitting their bids for these line items, why are the supplier users not able to enter values for the mandatory terms?
