3798682 - MIR4/MIR7: Error M8507 'No separate document type exists for invoice reduction' when processing parked invoices received from Ariba CIG - SAP S/4HANA

Symptom

  • Error message M8507 'No separate document type exists for invoice reduction' appears when attempting invoice reduction while editing a parked invoice.
  • The parked invoice was received via Ariba CIG through an IDoc process (IDoc type ARBCIG_INVOIC, Message Type INVOIC/INVOIC01).
  • The invoice was parked using EXIT_SAPLMRMH_0XX (Enhancement MRMH0002) via the EDI process.
  • In transaction OMR4, there is no option to maintain 'DocType invoice reduction' for transaction code MIR7.
