3798698 - ATC Exemptions created in earlier releases not applied after upgrade to SAP S/4HANA 2023

Symptom

After upgrading a system to SAP S/4HANA 2023, previously exempted ATC findings are reported again as active findings.

Typical observations include:

  • Existing exemption entries are present in table SATC_CI_EXEMPT.
  • Exemptions remain valid and approved.
  • The same ATC variant is used before and after the upgrade.
  • Findings that were previously listed as Exempted Findings are now reported as open findings.
  • Newly created exemptions work correctly, while older exemptions do not.
