3798978 - Net Value Is Zero in Intercompany Sales Order in 'Change Sales Order' (VF02) app in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Billing cannot proceed because the "Net Value" of an intercompany sales order item is calculated as 0.00, resulting in the incompletion log "Missing Data – Net Value" in "Change Sales Order" (VF02) app.

1. Open the intercompany sales order in 'Change Sales Order' (VF02) app.
2. Navigate to Menu -> Edit -> Incompletion Log.
3. Observe that Net Value is 0.00 and billing cannot proceed.

The material accounting data has a Standard Price of 0.01 EUR, Price Unit of 1,000 PC, and Price Control S (Standard Price). This results in the active price condition being determined as EUR 0.01 per 1,000 PC. Since the sales document quantity is only 1 PC, the calculated condition value is extremely small and, after currency conversion and rounding, results in a condition value of USD 0.00, causing the Net Value to be zero.

Review the ZCIP condition and the underlying material accounting data. The calculation is as follows:

• Condition Value = Amount ÷ Pricing Unit × Condition Basis
  • EUR 0.01 ÷ 1,000 PC × 1 PC = EUR 0.00001
• The amount is then converted to the document currency:
  • EUR 0.00001 × 1.14097 = USD 0.0000114097
• After rounding to the applicable document currency precision, the condition value becomes: USD 0.00

Review and adjust the Standard Price and/or Price Unit in the relevant material accounting data, where appropriate, so that the resulting ZCIP condition value does not round to zero for the expected sales quantity.
