3799022 - Group Reporting: Elimination member is not getting disclosed for data record having entity (Cons. unit or Profit center or Segment) = partner entity

Symptom

There is data on Posting Level 20 with details as follows:

  • Consolidation Unit A, Partner unit A, or
  • Segment A, Partner segment A, or
  • Profit center A, Partner profit center A.

In Group Data Analysis app, user

  1. filters the hierarchy for Consolidation unit or Segment or Profit center,
  2. filters the above mentioned data from Posting Level 20, and
  3. includes column (Dimension) Cons. Unit Eliminated or Profit Center Eliminated or Segment Eliminated into the report layout.

User finds that the virtual elimination member (<hierarchy node>_ELIM) is not getting disclosed for that data having entity (Cons. Unit or Profit Center /or Segment) = partner entity (Partner unit or Partner profit center or Partner segment) in column ... Eliminated.

(Hierarchical Elimination is enabled for Profit center and/or Segment.)
