3799123 - All Actions Shows Untranslated Labels Despite Manage Languages Entries

Symptom

  • In People Profile, the All Actions menu does not consistently display translated labels when the application language is set to a language other than English.
  • Several action labels may remain in English even though translations are maintained and visible in Manage Languages.
  • The behavior can be inconsistent: some actions are translated while others are not. The number of translated actions may also differ between languages.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Access the People Profile.
  2. Set the application language to a language other than English.
  3. Open the All Actions menu.
  4. Observe that some action labels remain in English despite translations being maintained in Manage Languages.

Cause

  • The action labels displayed under Latest People Profile > All Actions are sourced from the Employee Central Quick Action Template.
  • For the affected quick action cards, translations need to be maintained directly in the Quick Action Name field. Translations maintained only through Manage Languages do not provide the required translation for these quick action labels, resulting in the labels being displayed in English.

Resolution

  1. Go to Manage Data.
  2. Select Employee Central Quick Action Template.
  3. Open the desired quick action card.
  4. Choose Take Action > Make Corrections.
  5. Click the globe icon next to the Quick Action Name field.
  6. Add and maintain the label for the required language.
  7. Save the changes.

  8. Repeat these steps for each affected quick action card and required language.

    After the translations are maintained in the Quick Action Template, the corresponding labels in the All Actions menu are displayed in the selected language.
