3799273 - DRC – Email Not Triggered to Supplier for CIS Statement Due to Missing Scope Item 5XU Activation in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Email is not getting triggered to the Supplier master for CIS Statement in SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Not able to receive the CIS statements in an email to the Supplier.
2. Configure Output Parameter Determination (OPD) and set a sender email; email dispatch fails with “Domain in sender email address is not allowed”.

• The scope item 5XU (SAP Document and Reporting Compliance) license is missing and has not been activated in the system.
• Scope item 5XU requires an additional SAP S/4HANA Cloud license and is excluded from default activation. It requires an additional license when the customer uses advanced features of Document and Reporting Compliance.
• Without scope item 5XU being active, advanced features — including email output for statutory reporting — will not function as expected.

1. Ensure scope item 5XU is acquired and activated in your SAP S/4HANA Cloud environment.
2. To request activation, raise an incident to SAP Support using component XX-S4C-OPR-SRV.
3. Once 5XU is active, proceed with the full Output Parameter Determination (OPD) configuration to enable the email channel for statutory reporting.
