3799341 - Assembly/Consumption Data Type from Manage Materials not applied to a component after order download

Symptom

  • Assembly/Consumption data type is maintained for a component in Manage Materials.
  • After order download, the order-specific BOM shows the Assembly/Consumption data type field empty for that component.
  • In the assembly POD, the component has no assembly data type field available for data entry.
  • Manually assigning an Assembly/Consumption data type at order BOM level makes the field render in the POD.
