When opening Data Analyzer from a story that contains calculated dimensions, the editing formula (FX) option and delete option appears for calculated dimensions brought from the story, but the formula editor opens empty.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud Version 2026.15.6
Reproducing the Issue
- Open a story that contains calculated dimensions.
- From a chart/table in the story, open Data Analyzer.
- In Data Analyzer, open the editing formula (FX) option for the calculated dimension and observe that the editor opens empty.
Cause
Incorrect behavior.
Resolution
When a story-created calculated dimension is opened in Data Analyzer, the edit and delete button should not appear.
A fix has been prepared and is scheduled for deployment in the weekend of Aug 31 (subject to change).
