3799478 - Date field disappears after invalid text input on Custom MDF Objects in Latest People Profile

• Entering an invalid value (for example, "aaaaaa") into a date field on certain People Profile custom MDF cards causes that field to disappear from the screen after an error appears.
• Error message is shown at the bottom-left of the screen before the field disappears; no specific error text is displayed.
• Issue occurs only in People Profile (PPX), not in Manage Data.
• Issue does not occur in child tables of parent–child structures; replicable in tables without a parent–child structure.

SAP SuccessFactors Platform 2605

1. Open any user's People Profile > Personal Information and select Add.
2. Enter any date in the Effective Date field.
3. In a relevant custom MDF date field (for example, an expiration/end date field), type an invalid value such as "aaaaaa".
4. Observe an error message at the bottom-left and that the date field disappears from the UI.
5. Alternative: Open People Profile > Personal Data > a custom MDF card (for example, a disability-related or assignment details card), type "aaaaa" in a date field, and observe the field disappears.

This is a Known Issue.

No workaround is currently available.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release.
