3799683 - BD87 terminates with MESSAGE_TYPE_X in SAPLKAIS when processing multiple erroneous IDocs

• Mass reprocessing of multiple IDocs in status 51 using transaction BD87 may terminate with an ABAP short dump.

• The short dump contains:

  • Runtime error: MESSAGE_TYPE_X
  • Program: SAPLKAIS
  • Message: BL194 - Errors. Update not possible
  • Termination point: form MESSAGES_CHECK
  • Main program: RBDMANI2
• The issue can be sequence-dependent: the affected IDocs may process without a dump individually or at the end of the selection, but cause a dump when processed in the middle of a larger IDoc list.
• Valid application errors such as KO104 - Order & does not exist should leave the IDoc in status 51 without terminating the complete BD87 run.
