Symptom

After 1H 2026 release the “email-address” Field in emailinfo Changed from Optional to Mandatory.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to instance
  2. Go to Manage Business Configuration
  3. Go to Emailinfo 
  4. Now, click on make correction and make email-address as mandatory and save.
  5. And see it says "The HRIS field “email-address” must be configured as mandatory, as it is a required field."

Cause

This is an expected behavior.

Resolution

After 1H 2026 release email-address is now a mandatory field.
