Symptom

  • Activation of a planning area fails due to compilation errors in L Script for a key figure
  • Error(s) like the following are shown in the activation log:
    • SQL Message: column store error: fail to create scenario: [34011] Inconsistent calculation model; calculationNode (L_PLANNINGLEVEL_123) -> operation (CustomLOp): Compilation failed.
  • one or more additional errors like the following could be seen:
    • Error: Bool expressions should be of the same type
    • Error: Predicate should be of type Bool

NOTE: the planning level will vary (noted by L_PLANNINGLEVEL_123 in the example error
