3799956 - Custom field on Manage Inbound Deliveries – Warehouse APP cannot be exposed - S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• In app F7922 "Manage Inbound Deliveries - Warehouse", a custom action added via a behavior extension on the base business object activates but cannot be exposed in the UI.
• The behavior projection C_EWM_InbDeliveryHeaderTP is not declared extensible; attempts to add "use action " in a BDEF projection extension are rejected.
• Rejection message: the projected behavior definition is not enabled for extension.
• Documentation for release 2608 states the app is fully extensible (including custom actions and new UI controls), but this cannot be realized in the described scenario.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. In ADT, open behavior definition R_EWM_INBDELIVERYHEADERTP from the released objects for cloud development.
2. Create a behavior extension on the base BO that defines a custom action; activate successfully.
3. Create a behavior projection extension for C_EWM_INbDeliveryHeaderTP and attempt to expose the custom action using "use action".
4. Observe activation rejection stating the projected behavior definition is not enabled for extension; the action is not available in service UI_WHSEINBOUNDDELIVERY or the app.

A defect in the standard product code caused custom field values added to the inbound delivery header to not be retained when saving through the Manage Inbound Deliveries app.

• A fix is planned for delivery with release 2608.03, scheduled for import on November 14, 2026 (subject to change).
• Workaround until the fix: populate the affected custom field directly in the upstream ERP system before transfer to Cloud WM; when the delivery arrives in Cloud WM with the field already populated, the value is retained and processed correctly.
