3800011 - Error "last confirmation category must be gr-relevant" occurs when saving confirmation sequence in SSCUI 101718: Set Up Confirmation Control

In configuration activity "101718: Set Up Confirmation Control", error message "With &&, the last confirmation cat. must be GR-relevant (please correct)" (ME 130) occurs when saving a confirmation sequence without GR-Relevant set on the last entry.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open configuration activity 101718: Set Up Confirmation Control.
2. Select confirmation control key && and navigate to Confirmation sequence.
3. Create or maintain a sequence entry with:

• Confirmation category: AB (Order Acknowledgment)
• Reference date: 2 – Delivery date minus monitoring time
• GR-Relevant flag: not set

1. Save.
2. Observe the error dialog and that the entry is not saved.

• This is a standard data consistency validation: in any confirmation sequence, the last confirmation category must be marked GR-relevant. Saving is blocked if the final category is not GR-relevant.
• On save, the system validates all maintained confirmation control keys and their restrictions, not only the one currently edited; the message can originate from any key whose last confirmation category is not GR-relevant.

1. Review all maintained confirmation control keys in activity 101718 and open their Confirmation sequence entries.
2. Identify any sequence where the last confirmation category is not marked GR-relevant.
3. For each affected sequence, either set the GR-Relevant indicator on the appropriate final confirmation category or add a GR-relevant confirmation category as the last step.
4. Save the configuration and verify that the error log no longer appears.
