3800052 - No Warning for Overlapping Validity Periods During Duplicate File Upload in app 'Manage Prices – Sales' (F4111) -  SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

No warning is displayed for overlapping validity periods during duplicate data file is uploaded , while the same overlap triggers a warning during manual entry in app 'Manage Prices – Sales'(F4111).

1. Open the Manage Prices - Sales app.
2. Prepare a template containing pricing records with overlapping validity periods.
3. Upload the template to the app.
4. Observe that no warning about overlapping validity periods is shown.
5. Enter the same records manually, row by row.
6. Observe that the app shows a warning about overlapping validity periods during manual entry.

The requested warning for overlapping validity during duplicate data file upload is a missing functionality.

This is standard behavior; overlapping-validity warnings are supported for manual entry, while file uploads only warn for duplicate condition keys, so submit an idea via the Customer Influence Portal if upload validation is required.
