3800219 - Candidate Unable to Self-Schedule Interview but Interview Status Appears as "Booked" - Recruiting Management

Symptom

  • Candidates encounter a technical reason error when attempting to access the My Interviews link from the self-scheduling invitation email.
  • After refreshing the page, the My Interviews page displays the following message: "No Interviews Available  -- Currently, there are no interviews available for you to access."
  • Despite no interview being successfully scheduled, the interview status in the system is displayed as "Booked".
  • The candidate has not received any interview confirmation notification.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Send a self-scheduling interview invitation to a candidate.
  2. The candidate selects the My Interviews link from the invitation email.
  3. Observe that the My Interviews page displays the following message: "No Interviews Available  -- Currently, there are no interviews available for you to access."
  4. Check the interview status in the system.
  5. The interview status is displayed as Booked even though the candidate was unable to successfully schedule the interview.

Cause

SocketTimeoutException occurs during Microsoft Graph API calls.

Resolution

Introducing retries and increased timeout to handle the Transient errors occurs while Microsoft Graph API calls.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 2H 2026 release (b2611). For release timelines, please review SAP SuccessFactors Product Release & Road Map Information.

Workaround

Delete the interview for the affected candidate and reschedule the interview.
