What file formats are supported for attachments in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding?

1. Log in to SAP SuccessFactors.
2. Navigate to Onboarding.
3. Open the relevant Onboarding process.
4. Navigate to the section containing the Attachment field.
5. Click Add Attachment / Upload.
6. Select a file to upload.
7. The system allows the upload based on the supported file formats.

The following file formats are supported for general attachment fields in SAP SuccessFactors:

• .pdf
• .doc
• .txt
• .png
• .jpg
• .docx
• .jpeg
• .gif
• .html
• .rtf
• .bmp
• .msg
• .ppt
• .pptx
• .xls
• .xlsx
• .htm

For Onboarding document templates, the supported formats are PDF and XDP.

File type restriction is not available in standard Onboarding configuration. It is not possible to configure the system to allow only selected file types and restrict all other file types.

To view the supported file types in the Document Management Service, navigate to:

Manage Documents → Documents → Filter
