3800364 - Consolidation Unit Name Appears As "Consolidation Unit#" In Manage Assignment App

In Manage Assignment - By Matching Methods app or Manage Assignment  - By Reconciliation Case app, when you select a matching method, the consolidation unit field name shows as  "Consolidation Unit#".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to the Manage Assignment - By Matching Methods app.
2. Select a Matching Method.

The field Consolidation Unit appears as "Consolidation Unit#".

An override search help for the consolidation unit field is maintained in SSCUI.

In SSCUI Maintain Data Sources, check the Field Semantics list for the relevant Data Source and see that the fields RBUNIT and RBUPTR have Search Help Name maintained with FINCS_SH_MD_UNIT (FINCS_SH_MD_UNIT is an example).

This is the expected system design. The application appends "#" to the consolidation unit name only when an override search help is maintained for the unit field. To solve the issue, fields RBUNIT and RBUPTR should have Search Help Name blank.
